As others have said I use these ovens for years. This new model is terrible. Much cheaper and the base is plastic. the pot moves, not reliably like on older models. The temperature control is far less typical and worst of all, after only three months, the base has broken in two places. one small and one fairly large. I have had 5 and 6 liter models for many years and really liked them. It was my cooking tool. I'm so disappointed that the manufacturer changed this, no doubt to cut costs, but this little experiment failed! Fortunately, as a main buyer, they accepted it as a return.
