Minimalist shoes. Runs small

A real runner's review. These shoes run small. I wear a size 8.5 on Hoka, Brooks, Mizuno and pretty much every other brand of shoe. I should have gotten this 9.5. This is definitely a minimalist shoe that I wouldn't recommend wearing for more than probably 10,000 and not on anything remotely technical. You can feel every stone. The toe box is tight and rubs on the outside of the foot. After three easy 5 mile runs in these shoes, my feet hurt badly. They are comfortable enough for everyday life in the city.
