Great shoes! Trail Running Best

I love these shoes so much I just ordered a second pair in black. Fits perfectly on my wide foot. The toe box is very roomy and the gel bottom cushions my flatfoot soles very well. I don't really like running, but I love these shoes. And I really like the stretchy and attached tongue. UPDATE: I just received the black pair I ordered and I love them too. They are really comfortable and fun to walk in.

Pros
  • Synthetic/Mesh Upper
Cons
  • Quality

Best trail running shoes I've ever tried

I tried 2 other highly rated trail running shoes and both were so tight I had to throw them out because they hurt so much. This is the first shoe that fits my wide toe. Please note that the shoes are not waterproof, they can only withstand the water without tearing to shreds like normal sneakers. I took off one star because I had to buy half a size bigger than usual for my wide feet. I have the impression that all trail shoes are too narrow!

Pros
  • Rubber outsole
Cons
  • Not bad

Minimalist shoes. Runs small

A real runner's review. These shoes run small. I wear a size 8.5 on Hoka, Brooks, Mizuno and pretty much every other brand of shoe. I should have gotten this 9.5. This is definitely a minimalist shoe that I wouldn't recommend wearing for more than probably 10,000 and not on anything remotely technical. You can feel every stone. The toe box is tight and rubs on the outside of the foot. After three easy 5 mile runs in these shoes, my feet hurt badly. They are comfortable enough for everyday lifeโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Imported
Cons
  • Ok for the most part, but...

Not broad. Very small.

I ordered the wide one because it was in stock. They are NOT wide, they are narrow. They are extremely uncomfortable. You hurt my legs. I put them on a couple of times hoping they would stretch but it didn't work. I waited too long to come back and I wore them. If you have narrow feet, you can wear them. They are lightweight which is nice. However, they certainly don't have much padding. If I throw in some pads and get creative with tying, I can wear them for a short time. They probably aren'tโ€ฆ

Pros
  • The FantomFit upper offers an ultra-lightweight adhesive backing.
Cons
  • Unbelievable price.

Written as wide but not really designed for wide feet

I love the color of this shoe. This is actually my second pair (read on). When I first ordered it, I bought it in my usual size, 6.5 wide. They didn't look wide when I received them (they came with a tag that said 'wide'), but they fit; a little more comfortable than I prefer. I play kickball and prefer trail shoes to cleats as I have wide feet. I wore them to practice and to games and after a day of games I realized I couldn't wear them to games all day. I decided to go up a half size andโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Upper has a seamless construction for a smooth fit and feel
Cons
  • Protection
