Review on 💻 HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15.6-Inch, Intel Core i5-9300H, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 (4 GB), 8 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD, Windows 10 Home (15-dk0020nr, Shadow Black/Acid Green) by Sam Calderon

I needed a new laptop for gaming, streaming etc. I chose HP because my old HP Laptop is already 6 years old and still works pretty well and it seemed like I got something new that will last a while but as always it was technically outdated to run some games and due to lack of free one Memory also very slow. This new model is much more powerful and has 3x more memory. I haven't found a game I can't play yet and watching videos/streaming is mostly flawless. Battery life isn't great, I think due to the amount of power it needs to be as cool as it gets, it didn't bother me as I didn't take it for portable use anyway so mine is always plugged in. There are 2 relatively ge Minor issues I had to be aware of: The keyboard is backlit, but this model turns off. Backlight after about 10 seconds when not typing. My understanding is that this defeats the purpose of this feature as it does not glow continuously in the dark. There's no BIOS or other setting options to change this, so it's a bit annoying. Second, there seems to be a slight volume issue when watching movies from streaming sites like Revain Prime Video and NetFlix. With MAX speaker volume and MAX stream volume, the sound is acceptable, but you can't get above average. However, this problem does NOT occur when playing games, so I don't know what to do about it. I contacted HP about this but they never responded to me. I found this to be a fairly minor annoyance, although I can still use my old laptop if I need to watch something at a higher volume. Overall I'm very happy with this model, although I'll update this review if anything new, good or bad, comes up. I decided to wait 3 months before giving my opinion and here it is. ;)
