Bought these for my 3 and 5 year olds. They are the perfect length as they sit just above the knee. Size 3T fits my 3 year old well and is a great length. I have to close them because he has a small waist. I bought 4T for my 5 year old, the length is good but maybe shorter so I bought 5/6T. I was concerned they might be too big for my slim 5 year old, but they are actually perfect when I tie my waist. The pattern is very cute and my boys say they are comfortable. I've noticed that the material around the waist has faded a bit after washing, but that's not a big deal. All in all these are great shorts.
