I only give 5 stars when something is totally unique and better than you might expect. This item does what it is supposed to. I bought some water mist nozzles so I can make a PVC pipe misting system for my patio. I bought this drill bit to drill and cut 1/2" PVC pipe for nozzles. For 1/2 PVC pipe, this drill bit is too long to use the deburr and countersink feature. So you'll have to be VERY careful to use a very slow drill speed so you don't strip the thread you just made: if the drill touches the back of the PVC you have to stop and carefully back off/reverse it, I personally find that using a 20 time schedule doesn't give you enough thread because the pipe wall is too thin. Using schedule 40 (or preferably 600psi pipe) gives adequate "bite" and an acceptable number of threads. After some experimentation, I decided to go everywhere, where I needed a nozzle to use sliding sleeves.Then I drilled the coupler and pipe.This gave an even better filament and I didn't break a single one.
