🔩 Efficiently Drill and Tap with Greenlee DTAP10 24 Combination Drill 10 24NC Review

I bought this drill tap to make it easier to install spray nozzles in PVC pipes. Overall good design. However, when using this drill, be aware that you must drill very slowly after penetrating the object you are drilling into. It is very easy to remove the threads once you start drilling with the threaded portion of the drill. I would recommend this item for quick drilling and tapping.

Works great in CPVC (PEX) for drilling and tapping some small brass mist nozzles. Well, of course, any old piece of steel should drill through PEX easily. I only give 5 stars when something is totally unique and better than you might expect. This item does what it is supposed to. I bought some water mist nozzles so I can make a PVC pipe misting system for my patio. I bought this drill bit to drill and cut 1/2" PVC pipe for nozzles. For 1/2 PVC pipe, this drill bit is too long to use the deburr and countersink feature.
