It's basically two parts, a rubber stopper that fits into the bottle neck and a U-shaped collar piece that snaps onto the bottle neck and holds it in place Plug. The bottom of the "edge" of the bottle finish, under which the collar portion must pass, must be no more than 1/2 inch (13mm) from the top opening of the bottle.
