Supported by Nexus Player. I can't speak for other devices. Now if you plug in a flash drive you might not be able to access the file system, but that's not the hub's fault, it's just that Android is Android. There are ways to get around this with apps. I mainly used it to give my Nexus Player some much needed USB ports. I mainly use it as a direct OTG adapter to connect my keyboard, but I like how it still has three free ports. I can connect a flash drive or portable solid state drive (Samsung T3) and play media from it.
