I love this slicer. It is durable, easy to assemble with four small screws, and easy to clean. I love that it picks up all the crumbs and doesn't leave a mess on the table. The guides are perfect, each disc is perfectly even. I was concerned I wouldn't be able to customize them but realized that if I needed a thicker piece of bread I could just skip a guide. It worked great. The best part is that the knife glides easily and the bread comes out perfect! Not everything is chopped up ... Even warm bread can be sliced wonderfully.
