I only received this product a day ago but so far I'm impressed. It met or exceeded everything you could expect at this price point. Setup and installation were easy. Bracket and lever were there in 5 minutes. The monitor came with a DisplayPort cable that supports HDR10, so it was a welcome addition. Turning the monitor on was surprisingly an issue and my only real issue with the monitor. The connector on the cylinder that powers the monitor is very stiff and you will need to use some force to secure it, although the connector does not go all the way. It took me a while to figure this out as the monitor wouldn't turn on. The monitor is very versatile. Vertical viewing angles can be adjusted, and the height itself can be adjusted in many ways. The monitor can also be set up in portrait format. A 144Hz monitor means a very smooth gaming experience. Games like Rainbow Six Siege and CS:GO feel a lot more responsive. And it can really make a difference in close encounters with enemies. And Freesync makes a big difference too. I used to have so many screen tearing issues in games, especially third person shooters like GTA V, that I had to turn on V-Sync. Naturally, this led to performance issues. Now I can have a smooth experience without the disadvantages of Vsync. While the main aspects of gaming monitors are response time and refresh rate, the picture quality of this monitor is also excellent. The 350 nit display delivers very clear, bright whites. 99% sRGB rendering makes it ideal for amateur photo and video editing. Of course, the 10-bit color luma bar enables HDR10. Now I don't see HDR as a big reason to buy this monitor. HDR doesn't work by default in Windows 10. I tried turning it on and got a really nasty seemingly low resolution screen. And if you have an AMD graphics card, you won't get Netflix HDR. I tried and couldn't get it. Apparently this only applies to Intel iGPU and Nvidia cards. But playing games like Battlefield and Resident Evil in HDR is pretty satisfying. All in all, it's a great buy and comfortable as a mid-range monitor. There are probably cheaper 144Hz monitors out there, but I think 10-bit color and HDR 10 might justify the price for you.
