Not bad for the money, but not perfect

This is a solid device at an unbeatable price, but it does have a few downsides. . We checked the range for a mile and could hear each other loud and clear. The tone and volume are top notch, I've never had to turn the volume up past the mid-range when cruising my Harley down the freeway with a non-original exhaust. If you were expecting big bass from dual tweeters you'll be disappointed, but overall the sound is clear and on par. Connecting to my phone or other headsets is very easy. Battery life is good (probably around 12 hours on and off for a week). Cons: The battery "indicator" sound is not very accurate. It says 'Battery 100%' for a couple of days and once it says 'Battery 80%' I might have half an hour before it stops working, which is pretty inconvenient but can be avoided with proper charging. . In addition, this device has problems with heating. If I leave my bike helmet in the sun above 85 degrees for more than a few minutes, it just won't turn on. As soon as I put my helmet in and let it cool down for about an hour, it starts up again and works perfectly. Again, this can be avoided by having to lug around my helmet, which can be quite tiring. Overall I am satisfied with my Lexin. Having ringtones and being able to chat with friends has greatly improved my motorcycling experience. I can honestly say that it outperforms similar Senas that cost 3-4 times as much, with a few small livable quirks.
