Quality of build appears to be extremely good at this price point.USB-C and a 12V port were the main reasons for buying this product. With a usb-c to usb-a adapter it can be used on any USB3, 4, x2 etc, or TB3/TB4 port.To get full speed from a 3.5 inch drive it is necessary to use a 2.5 Amp 12 Volt adapter. I used a 2.0 amp and got very good speeds but 2.5 amps would be necessary to get full speed from a 3.5 inch drive.
