I have V60, Chemex, Aeropress, espresso maker and french press. This is by far the best coffee maker I have ever used. I love filter coffee and dipping makes sense. So I tried to make it by brewing it in a glass carafe and then pouring it through a V60 cone. That helped, but it made the coffee cold and the flow on the V60 was incredibly slow - it felt like the fine ground particles were clogging the pores, which doesn't happen when I brew directly into the V60. . But I noticed more flavors. So I bought Clever Dripper and apart from being even lighter than V60 and Chemex the flavors are lighter, stronger without increasing bitterness. With this type of dipping, there is no such dependency on grind size and brewing time. Grind size only affects extraction level (finer grind size increases surface area and increases extraction) - so it's much easier to control the brewing process. A small additional advantage: An ordinary paper filter is required.
