Reduced my exhaust pipe transfer heat
Wrapped a single pipe exhaust system (from front exhaust collector to beginning of muffler) on a 1980 MGB. Had a problem with heat transfer from the pipe through the floorboards and into the passenger cabin. My unprofessional testing of the heat in the cabin after the wrap was it was reduced a good 20%, making the car much more comfortable to sit in. Well worth the money. Purchase the extra metal wrappers for a better and tighter fitment. I finished the system up with (BBQ) heat resistant black paint and black high temp gasket sealer to help the cut ends of the wrap not to unravel. Recommended. Joe
