I was concerned when this kettle arrived. I previously had a Coffee Gator with the exact same thermometer design that broke after 2 months. But a few months later, it's still working perfectly! I have used several gooseneck kettles - Bonvita Electric Kettle, Coffee Gator Kettle and this one. The spout is by far the best for this Barista Warrior kettle. Excellent flow control that consistently produces better coffee than I can brew while working with Bonvita. The kettle feels solid and has an accurate temperature sensor, but for me the winning feature is still the great spout. Highly recommended!
