This unit became unusable a few days after the return deadline and broke my glow plug. Some other issues: (1) After 1 week the remote turned off without warning and my brand new AAA batteries I just put in needed to be replaced. (2) After 2 weeks, the plug started falling out of the socket, causing my heater to not work properly according to the temperature gauge. I didn't send it back because I wanted to wait to get a replacement thermostat before sending this one back. By the time the return period expired the plug was completely BURNED and PLUGGED *IN* the exit device - it took me a good 5 minutes while struggling to safely pull it out to ensure my heater plug wasn't completely destroyed by removal. There were black spots all over the fork and I had to use some steel wool to remove the pockmarks that had formed all over. my fork. I was afraid my heater was broken but when I plugged it into a regular outlet it turned out to be working fine. This device destroys electrical devices! Luckily I'm now using a different brand of thermostat plug and it hasn't given me any of these problems.
