USB side no problem. I downloaded some mp4 files from my laptop and then connected to my iPad. The application installed automatically, and then nothing, I didn't see my files. I even tried the files app but it didn't recognize the device. When I plug the stick with the adapter into the iPad, the Files app recognizes the device and I can play music etc. I haven't seen anything with this device before.
