I burned out in a short time as the characters on the jog dial are audible to read and the manual is a small booklet with bare instructions. There was no indication of where the battery or batteries were. (It turns out to be 9 volts and you have to disassemble the meter with 2 screws to replace it or the fuse. There is no spare fuse.) On the plus side, the display backlight is worth noting. The silicone skin is a mimic of the more expensive industry standard I have. But take a close look at the icons on the rotary dial before attempting to use it.
