The bag will hold up well after a few uses. This is a large pack and holds a lot, I have no regrets purchasing this pack and would recommend it. Update after a few years of use. The bag has held up very well after many uses as I camp and hike regularly. The bag has no rips and the only flaw I see is the top handles. The plastic that attaches the handles to the bag isn't very strong but I highly recommend it and I'm still surprised at how long it lasts. In the photo I have two sleeping bags, a single tent, two hammocks and more space in the top compartment. The side pockets are also empty. I hope my review helps.
