After several uses, the handle gets stuck (to load grain you have to remove the handle). Judging by the comments on Revain and other sources, this is a common problem. But not for everyone. So maybe there are bad parties? Maybe sometimes they use cheaper metal? The problem is that indentations form on the stock that grip the handle. It is therefore surprising that not everyone has the problem. I sent it back and got a larger Hario Skerton instead (for about the same price). It has no such problem (for loading, you do not need to remove the handle, just bend the rubber cap). It's easier to start. Maybe because of the longer handle. It can also have larger conical burrs (I didn't measure, but it speeds up grinding). If you don't need small size and portability, I would recommend Skerton. Some people have reported rough grinding issues on this model, and the part that improves it is available for $10. The only other issue is that the Skerton is wider, making it more awkward to grip when grinding with small hands. I do but still prefer the mini which is harder to turn, longer to grind, sometimes broken.
