Review on Kitory Utility Knife, 5 Inch Fine-Edge Kitchen Knife, Sharp German High Carbon Stainless Steel, Full Tang Pakkawood Handle With Gift Box - Metadrop Series by Steve Waldbillig

Nice, sharp Nakiri knife!

I ordered the Nakiri and I am really happy that I added this knife to my collection for my food preparation. When it arrived it was sharp, right out of the box. It's not too heavy, and for the most part it is easy to use. The handle is a little awkward, but not bad. The knife is really unique looking compared to what I have used in the past. The handle looks decent, but when you use it the handle feels a little cheaply made. It's not horrible, by any means, but it's worth pointing out. This knife is advertised as a vegetable knife. I mostly use it on veggies, but I have used it on bread, steak, etc. It slices through my veggies without squishing the softer ones, and I can get nice, thin slices from it. The blade makes it fairly easy to chop, dice, etc. I have now used it about 8-10 times and it's still really sharp. In regard to durability, I do feel like this knife will hold up. I will probably make sure to hand wash it every time just to help prolong its life span.I plan on checking out more of the Kitory knives to add to my collection.
