Counter lighting - In addition to consuming electricity, the original G8 halogen bulbs generated a significant amount of heat which over time warped the fixture's plastic body. the same length as halogens but about 50% thicker. The brightness of the LED bulb (second photo) is slightly lower than that of the halogen bulb (first photo), but the difference is negligible. The tone/color is warm and almost the same as halogen. Not light blue/white like some LEDs. Can't comment on durability but I suspect it will be compatible with this type of LED light. By the way, I read that it is not recommended to use light bulbs. on low power or muted. Our lights have a high setting and a low setting. My wife decided to try the low settings and all the bulbs work stably with no flickering. The light is very dim, so we used this setting as a night light. Let's see if this will damage the bulbs or reduce their lifespan.
