My son (16 years old) wanted these for his truck. 3M tape stuck the controller to the bottom. We bought a car power adapter plug to power the headlights. A little tape and we were in business. We placed a lightbulb under the steering wheel trim and another under the glove box. Then I added 2 more lights under the backrest of the driver and passenger seat. The cables were long enough to do this, but they weren't really long enough to fit under the back seat in the extended cabin. Flashlights have several "modes" to use. One of the modes flashes to the beat of the music, there is a sensitivity control on the dimmer that helps to flash to the beat. I don't know how long the 3M tape will last but I will be buying more. We actually used several cable ties for each light to secure the lights to the metal under the dash and the metal bars under the seat. For the price, these lights work great. We've only had them installed for a week, so far so good. I recommend these lights.
