Has stopped working after a month (update)

02/25/20 - The company contacted me about the device and my problems and quickly sent me a new one. Connected everything worked fine. Both TVs received a 4k HDR signal from my Apple TV. No glitches and works as expected right out of the box. My last device must be defective. Excellent customer service! I got this to split the signal from my Apple TV 4K to two different TVs. There was some "glitch" from the start but I wasn't sure if it was the splitter or the signal or the TV but setting the signal to 4K HDR took a few tries and restarting the Apple TV, but in the end both TVs worked fine. Currently. After 40 days, only one TV can receive a signal at a time. If I switch the outputs or boot directly from the Apple TV, everything is fine. So for me it's not a cable or Apple TV, it's a splitter. For example Apple TV -> Splitter Input 1 or Input 2 > Output to either TV works fine but when you connect both TVs one turns off. I've been having more and more "problems" with the TV connected to the 15ft HDMI cable, so I have a feeling it might be a power issue, but it doesn't make sense why it was happening every day for a month worked and then stopped. Maybe mine is broken. My old splitter worked fine for years but didn't support 4k so I bought this one.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Not bad but...
