I've had this monitor mount for about a month now and I feel I've used it enough to give a thorough review. I bought it specifically for a 24" ThinkVision monitor (T24i -10) with a recessed VESA mount as you can see in the attached image and it fits perfectly. I was a bit wary because after reading the description, unlike some other reviewers, I thought I might need to make some modifications to make the mount work, as the first paragraph actually says "not compatible with recessed mount". Despite the description, I bought it anyway because this monitor mount allows the monitor to be lowered when I need it. And I figured if the recessed mount was a problem, it's nothing that some washers and longer screws from Home Depot couldn't fix for a few bucks. Adapt and overcome, right? I'm glad I bought this because in the month I've been using it it's been working perfectly. Installation was quick, setup was done once and I haven't had to reconfigure since. As you can see in the picture, this monitor mount sits on top of my work monitors and I move them regularly for some non-work related gaming and web browsing. It goes down about half compared to other monitors and when I lift my chair it's perfect. For the price and functionality I couldn't find a better mount and now that I use it daily I couldn't think of a better solution without spending significantly more.
