Quality tool made in the USA

You get what you pay for and although this little torque wrench may cost over $130, it's worth every penny and you're supporting an American company that makes all the parts in house. From the moment I saw the suitcase it arrived, you can tell it was well made. As soon as you pick it up you will feel and see the difference in quality. No plastic parts, even the tiny lever to switch the ratchet is made of metal! It's also a great looking key. Sure you can get one for $20-50, but will it be as accurate as this one? Maybe in the first month or two, if at all. I bought this to work on my bikes because every once in a while I would over tighten a hex head screw or bolt and it resulted in me either not removing it or using a tap and/die to fix it. I do all the maintenance myself, and it's easy to tighten something that only requires 8 lb-ft of torque. Too weak - it may fall off while riding, too strong - it may damage the bolt or screw, oil pan, stator cover, shifter, etc. Save time and money and ensure you reassemble it to spec.

Pros
  • Superb construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
