Requires large hands to handle

This item is so girly I photographed it in the sun to capture the glitter on it. Beautiful item, very well made. I bought it for my 8 year old daughter. There is a lot of food in it and she said it was hot when she ate it. The problem is that it is very wide and quite difficult to handle/open as the outer layer is very smooth and slippery. Also, the lid doesn't close completely (even when I asked my 2.5m tall man to close it with my huge hands), the lid is also smooth and slippery, the rubber grip offers a bit of a grip but if it breaks it is it over. . It can be washed in the top rack of the dishwasher.
