I don't know about rock climbing but kids love this thing
My kids love to swing on it and their buttocks don't hurt from our previous DIY version of the stick on the rope. He supports my 8 and 11 year old. Climbing is kinda ah, but so far swinging is a hit. Easy to place on a suitable tree. The rope is strong, so we hope that the element itself that touches the tree will last a long time and not break.
