Update - August 14, 2021 Changed from four stars to one star. After many attempts with Blueskysea they are unable to fix their GPS function, see answers below. All other issues I reported were fixed with a firmware update. I believe their software is not calculating my time zone correctly and they have no way of repairing the software. The return date has passed. Her suggestion was to disable the GPS antenna and not use the GPS function. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS MOTORCYCLE CAMERA TO ANYONE AT THIS TIME. Let me just say I don't like it. Blueskysea A12 DOES NOT SAVE CONFIGURATION CHANGES! TIME ZONE keeps changing, DATE keeps changing to the current date -1. The time is never right. The frequency keeps changing from my 60MHz setting to 50MHz. The file size is not what I set. I receive files of 10s, 59s, ? sec and 1 sec Support did not answer my questions. Not very useful. I don't think I can return the product because there was some kind of fuse on the two ends of the cable and I cut it off to connect it to my bike. I tried asking support for advice but got no answer so I cut off the ends of the cable. UPDATE (3/28/21): I'm working with Vicky at support@blueskysea-inc.com and she sent me an update file that seems to have fixed everything but the TIME and DATE. After you set the date through the menu, it will be displayed on the video monitor for about 10 seconds and then change to 20 hours ahead. I will update my negative review when this last issue is resolved. By the way, the update also changed the speed from kilometers per hour to miles per hour. It also robbed me of the ability to set the amount of time per file. The files are each five minutes long, which is what I wanted anyway. UPDATE (3/29/21): Vicky replied that the DATE and TIME are moved forward 20 hours after I set the TIME ZONE to GMT-10 for Hawaii. She made me change my TIME ZONE to GMT-9. the initial DATE and TIME appear to be stuck. I hope this change is not just a patch and my DATE and TIME will change automatically in the fall.
