Warning, contains Stevia, which belongs to the same plant family as Ambrosia!

1 star for attention as some have no problem with stevia. I bought it because it contains no soy, no whey, no GMOs, etc. I never use stevia and Jay Robb considers it an "herb" (really Jay) which it isn't, it's a highly processed commercial sweetener derived from the stevia rebiana plant. What's the problem with that? Stevia rebiana is in the same plant family as ragweed (similar protein and genetic makeup), and if you're allergic to ragweed, you're probably allergic to stevia. What's even worse is that you swallow it, and in a decent amount. I noticed that I had constant sore throats and constant allergy symptoms even in the winter. Whatever I eliminate from my diet, it makes no difference. I happened to look at the ingredient list on the back and it looks clean except for the stevia, which I never thought of. Of course, after doing some research and removing the powder from my diet, all of the symptoms went away. Many people may not be allergic to ragweed, but if you are, DO NOT use this product. Other side effects of Stevia include drops in blood pressure, blood sugar, etc. Here is Jay Robb's statement that "God is first and only best". There is no need to add a strong sweetener to a product that is mixed with fruit. , berries etc. and tries to claim a clean label.
