What a waste! I'm ashamed to realize the lids won't close ONLY after pouring paint into a jar. I would prefer to give zero stars - what's the use of a can of paint with a non-reclosable lid? No matter how hard I press the lid (even standing on it and I weigh 180 pounds) it won't close. It looks like either a cover incompatibility or a factory error with tolerances. UPDATE: As one commenter suggested, I had to use a rubber mallet to snap the lid shut. This method works great. While this is the case, it doesn't seem like much to need an additional tool to close the lid of the paint can. At least it should have been mentioned beforehand so I knew I couldn't close it with my bare hands. Upgrade to 3 stars.
