This is great!: Paint Buckets

Wanted to clean up my overflowing paint cans in the garage and they are great! I combined the cans and those that were only partial or had rusty lid stains went in these. Rusty rims are a problem in my damp garage, but the paint is still good. They are plastic so this solves that problem and I am able to keep my touch up cans longer with less air and no rust. As for the labels, I took a picture of the old label and then printed them on the shipping labels I had + wrote on them too. It could…

Just one complaint about paint supplies and tools

They work great and seal well. The only criticism is that the lids are very difficult to attach. Any traditional metal paint can lid I've ever used can be applied with a little body weight, and sometimes a light tap with a small hammer is required. an ordinary hammer and a piece of scrap wood. I'm always afraid I'll break the lid because I have to hit them so hard. But still they worked for me and if I can't find metal cans I will buy them again. I bought these because I couldn't find any metal

DOA - Lid does not close MANUALLY

What a waste! I'm ashamed to realize the lids won't close ONLY after pouring paint into a jar. I would prefer to give zero stars - what's the use of a can of paint with a non-reclosable lid? No matter how hard I press the lid (even standing on it and I weigh 180 pounds) it won't close. It looks like either a cover incompatibility or a factory error with tolerances. UPDATE: As one commenter suggested, I had to use a rubber mallet to snap the lid shut. This method works great. While this is the…

Looking forward to it

I live about a mile from the sea and paint cans rust quickly. I used to buy new ones made of metal just to save the paint, but they've also gotten rusty. When you start it up again, rust particles get into the paint, some almost weld together. I asked every local paint shop (4 different suppliers) for a plastic alternative and they all used the same metal. I decided to search online and luckily I found it. I have transferred all the paints into plastic cans and I hope that in a year or two I…

They appear to be very well made

and sturdy. I had to open two very, very old (14 year old) cans of paint to paint my living room and hallway. Both were almost full, 1 gallon cans and both had very rusty lids that shattered when trying to remove them. I ordered them straight away and used two of each color and I love them. It's not flimsy plastic, it's hard plastic. I like that they are black as I'm not sure if prolonged exposure to light will affect the colour. And my paint is already OLD. The lid closes well and sounds good.
