Review on Multi Color Melissa & Doug Butterfly Activity by Muleme Bollinger

I bought this to have on hand when my grandkids come to visit. My 14 year old granddaughter assembled it about a month ago while she was here. I had to convince her that it wouldn't be too difficult as she seemed confident that she had NO artistic skills and would mess things up somehow. It turned out beautiful! It was easy enough for an age much younger than her, but it requires some fine motor skills and strength to lay the "stained glass" pieces into small sections and press down on the ends so they stick. We used an inkless pen to go over the edges inside the raised black frames. It was a fun project that brought her creative "success," though she's convinced she has no talent. It lasted about an hour and we had a good visit while she did it. Thanks Melissa and Doug! We all need that positive reinforcement from time to time.
