The product image shows that this can be used with mirrorless cameras. I have doubts. For a small (9cm, 3" square) LED it's fine, but I really wouldn't trust it with my Z7 or even my Sony RX10-IV. It's just not built for heavy use. If in the marketing content if only smaller devices were shown I would give it a 4 or 5.PROS-Small Very small Fits in a pocket Not much larger than a human thumb - aluminum It's not just a single use plastic item, it's designed. - Nice finish - Works great with an LED light, webcam or small pocket camera on a tripod with a 1/4" head mount. (Note: Most tripods use a 3/8" head mount.) CONS - Light weight. It really doesn't hold more than a kilogram (2.2 pounds) and at that weight, anything you use should be well balanced. Do not attempt this with an interchangeable camera with a lens longer than about 70mm or it will not be able to hold it upright. - The bullet is not smooth. I have used many tripod heads. Some of them are smooth as silk. .This one isn't very well polished, it feels rough when I move the ball in the socket.- Just one adjustment and it feels like it's all or nothing. You can tighten the ball in the socket or loosen up and that's it. Tighten, the difference between tightening and loosening is about 1/8 turn. Don't expect to use this as a smooth head where a slightly tightened knob creates some resistance. You won't really get it. A small, fixed-position device that requires a positionable quarter-inch mount that you can leave alone once installed. This is a good buy. ls. At $12, I recommend it for that purpose only.
