Bought this blender in October 2019. I use it daily to make protein and green smoothies. My recipes usually consist of water, powder, butter and frozen berries. I don't use ice so I'm not sure how well it mixes with solid ingredients. So far it works great. I really like it except when it comes to cleaning it. Because I want to clean the back of the silicone rings on the base and lid, where residue and mold can build up, I have to manually remove them with a spoon every time I wash. This is inconvenient and can sometimes be difficult. It would be nice if I only used the blender occasionally. But since I use it twice a day it becomes a problem. The product works great; It's just one that I have to downgrade from 5 stars to 4. This problem may not apply to you if you only clean the bottle without the areas behind the silicone rings.
