Review on Pacer Performance 25 500 Length Bumper by Giovanni Glenn

I live in the city and street parking is the norm. You walk down the street and you see beautiful cars, then you look at their bumpers - it's very sad. "Bumper contact parking" (ie reversing into contact with the car behind you) is the norm. Although I have space for my car in the garage, I have to park on the street to get around town. So when I moved here and saw all the bumpers were destroyed I started looking at Revain for bumper protection products. For the front of my car (Mini Cooper) the license plate is/will be the first point of contact so I bought one of those thick rubber license plate protectors (great reviews) to protect the front of my car. After a long search for a rear bumper protection product, I chose Pacer Performance Strips for two reasons. First, the reviews were consistently excellent. Secondly, most of the other products were much worse in terms of protection. It's durable - I mean REALLY durable. They are hard rubber, very good quality and together they cover the entire rear bumper of my Mini. Looking at the product photos you might think they are for protection rather than aesthetics, but once in place. they look really cool and sporty - and heck they protect your bumper. A word of caution - be absolutely sure your bumper is in place (space and height) before pushing even a small portion of the product onto your vehicle. Car glue is extremely strong and once you make contact you CANNOT remove it, and if it's crooked or not in the right place, you're out of luck. I went as far as putting a piece of tape underneath where I wanted them and testing to make sure it was even and THEN I gently pressed one of the products against my machine and worked from end to end. There are two matching parts. Again, the end result is really attractive and you no longer have to worry about scratches and dents on the bumper. Highly recommended and would buy again.
