I installed this fan in a 12 x 14 foot bedroom with an 8 foot ceiling and the 42 inch fan seems to fit perfectly. The material and processing quality is very good in line with the price of the product. I chose this fan for its low profile, even with a lightweight kit. Installation is fairly easy, but a bit fiddly. The instructions were a bit minimal. It would be nice to be able to see which screws are used everywhere, much like Casablanca does in their instruction manuals. be at the lowest speed in the summer months. I installed this fan with the optional LK65BS lighting kit which is perfect for the fan. I also used a wall switch to control the fan so I didn't have to deal with electrical circuits. One star down for a very low hum at any fan speed. Although not noisy, it can be heard in the middle of the night.
