Our 2 1/2 year old son is extremely picky and we are having a tough time getting him to eat what he should. He was super duper excited to see this new set. I hand-washed it so he could use it for dinner the day that we received it. He LOVED playing with the fork and spoon as he ate. He was making siren noises and all. It took some time, but he ate everything on his plate (which is rare) and was SO proud of himself! I think mixing in this fun with meal time is just what he needed. I definitely recommend this set if you are trying to do the same, or if you just have a fireman/fire truck lover. These are high quality and we're very happy them. Yes, they are pricey- but if they last a long time and get my little guy to eat, they're worth it! =)
