When I first switched from inkjet to laser printers, I chose HP. All of the HP printers I've bought have died shortly after their one-year warranty expired. I gave up HP and tried Samsung. The same thing happened. Then I went to Brother. I have two HL-2170Ws that have been running flawlessly for over four years. You simply connect to the network via cable or wirelessly. They rarely get stuck and when they do get stuck they are easy to clean. They print envelopes easily. The envelope comes out a bit bent rather than flat, but the shape seems to flatten out before I mail it. While our printers are little used other than being heavily used at times. The printers have stood the test of time. In the room where they are kept, cool up to 60 degrees in winter. I think that's why I've had issues with all the HP and Samsung printers I've had, but again, no issues with these Brother printers. When they finally stop working I will replace them with new Brother printers. I also have a Brother HL-4040CDN color laser, which has also proven its worth with no problems. I highly recommend Brother printers. I also have a Canon all in one. Haven't had it long but so far so good. Stay away from HP and Samsung printers. They can end up costing you more than you expected.
