I chose these because the nursery offered to send water bottles to toddlers so they have their own bottle to drink during the day. I really love this bottle. On hot days I fill the bottle with cold water and the baby likes to drink from it. The stainless steel bottles keep the water cold all day and the baby loves it too. She's constantly looking for her water bottle and it came in handy when she was sick and needed hydration throughout the day. She had no problem drinking from a bottle. The mouthpiece can also be fixed to prevent dripping. Your baby may need to get comfortable and gain strength, but in the end my 15 month old was able to figure out how to twist the mouthpiece to drink from it. Overall, I highly recommend investing in a higher quality water bottle that will last a while.
