Surprisingly the bulbs last up to 15 years, consume only 9 watts (for a 60 watt equivalent bulb) and are very affordable. In addition, they include a 5-year guarantee. LED lamps are indeed a great invention. BUT the "light appearance rating" is nowhere near daylight. scary garage (although their rating is said to be 5000K which is = daylight). The warm bulbs are VERY yellow (although they're rated 2700 = warm) and they're MUCH dimmer than their "daylight" bulbs (although they're both supposedly equal to 60W). Also, it would be SO easy for them to print out the bulbs information, whether they are warm or cold, and change the wattage, BUT there are only tiny codes that don't make any sense. So if you take them out of the box or don't have the box, you have no idea what kind of bulbs you have! Ridiculous! Come on Regal, PRINT information to help the consumer.
