Review on πŸŽ’ MOSISO Multipurpose Crossbody Shoulder Backpack by Brian Whitmore

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The outer parts are a little less durable, but they don't overuse your pockets, do they?

I originally bought this bag for a trip to Disneyland in February and loved it so much that when I returned I used it every day, whether for work or a day trip. The main body of the bag is sturdy, with pockets big enough for everything I need (triple wallet, extra battery and phone cord, keys, snacks, rolled shirt/lightweight down jacket, parking pass; and I could have a baseball cap with a buckle closure ) and the dual mesh pockets on the outside were a nice touch for me to juggle a wet umbrella and water bottle, for example. Despite being one shoulder, the strap can be changed from left to right to fit your most comfortable position and is snug enough to comfortably hold the bag in place even while running. The items are fairly easy to access - sometimes I just flip the bag back to front and grab what I need - but I never felt like they were exposed. With a padded back, I found it quite comfortable to wear all day, and the design is so simple it makes me feel normal when I take my bag to work. However, when I first put the bottle in one of the mesh pockets, a small hole broke through. Mesh on top - not big enough that the bottle can't be held tightly but enough to be a nuisance if you have OCD on the visual condition of your items. The same goes for the shoulder strap - one side of the fabric that secures the padding began to unravel at the seams after about a month of use. While I can still use it, the seal stays open unless the strap is pressed against you. This is only the case with regular use. So if you tend to overuse your items, I imagine those external parts might perform a little worse. I'd also like to point out that on smaller bodies, when you tighten the strap, the free end hangs a little longer. It's a pretty good bag for the price and I'll admit my shortcomings are picky. While I'm open to looking at other shoulder bags, I would definitely consider buying another one of these.
