I was very hesitant to buy it because of the price but after trying so many other brands in the $50 range I finally decided and bought it. I still can't tell how much it costs, but it saves us so much time in our retail store that it's worth it. It is heavier than a conventional scanner and feels better in the hand. It scans all the barcodes that the cheaper ones have trouble with. It paired seamlessly on the first try and we were even able to program it to automatically press enter after each scan. overpriced? Probably. However, it's still worth it as it's the only one of its caliber on the market.
