Great charger: worth the extra money compared to a cheap fast charger

I am a professional photographer and use a lot of batteries in my flashes and other gear so I need a charger that gives me (a) the best Charge in my batteries and (b) be able to test batteries and let me know when they're low so I'm not surprised by a low battery when I'm shooting. This charger is perfect for me. In the first week of using it, it helped me identify three batteries from my old kits that were no longer fully charged. You can choose how fast you want to charge your batteries (slower is generally slightly better for battery longevity if you have the time), you can restore your batteries, all safely and individually. The controls aren't the most intuitive in the world, but once you get used to them, they're simple enough. To do this, simply press the "Slot" button to select the battery, the "Function" button to choose what you want to do, and then the "Current" button to set how fast you want to do it. Seems like a lot of button pushing, but it gets the job done. I've been using it for a few months now with no problems. One of my old chargers was cheap and came with a set of 4 batteries and although it worked fine it charged the batteries in pairs. So when the first battery reaches full charge and stops charging, the second battery in the pair also stops charging and never reaches full charge, meaning half the batteries in my flashes are under charged at any given time. This charger fixes that. Of the three batteries that I found no longer fully charged, two functioned normally again when I ran them through the 'refresh' cycle in this charger. I don't know how long that will take. I find it odd that this works but I switched the batteries in the flashlight to bright ones and they seem to last. Good.
