Guess I'm just going to stick with the old style and enjoy the original Swiffer Floor Duster on my hard floors and especially animal hair. These Swiffer Pet Dusters are, in my opinion, just a refined version of those good old even-textured floor sweepers. Look closely at the picture of these pet rags and notice the feathery edges. The moment it touches my dog's fur it becomes a tangled mess because I can't distinguish the edge of the rag and the dog's fur because they are now one big white dead end. Once I have collected enough dog hair, I can clearly see the dog hair on the smooth "Original" Swiffer Floor Dusters, I just remove the hair and do 2 steps of dusting the dog hair, which extends the life of the dog hair by 2-3 times. Even a pet? I can barely go past 6ft (small room/wooden floor) because they already seem like a mess to me. This is my part. No wait! To be fair, my dog loses an insane amount of straight white hair that would test any Swiffer Duster, but I'd give him back for a Straight Swiffer any day. Much luck! (And as for the starred choice: they're unscented, which I prefer.
