They work, but MEN they are heavily flavored!
I used half a sheet in my heavy-duty washing machine. It cleaned clothes and didn't leave an excessive odor. But when the box is opened in my garage/laundry room, which is about 15 x 15 feet, the aroma is overpowering and gives me a headache. Unfortunately, I'll throw away the rest of the box and see if I can find anything that doesn't smell.
