Bought for work. I have a router there, but no one bothered to stretch the cable to the computer, because I don’t need the Internet for work. That's why I bought the adapter myself. I just plugged it into my PC and the drivers installed themselves. I did not use the extension cord from the kit, I just plugged it into the rear USB port. The signal is good, although a decent distance to the router. The speed is normal, and does not fall. Movies at lunchtime can be watched without difficulty in good quality. I sometimes use it at home too.
