Review on πŸ“Ί LG Smart 3D LED LCD HDTV TV Replacement Universal Remote Control by Joe Nieves

Revainrating 5 out of 5

MY GOD! Much better than the Magic Remote that came with my LG ThinQ TV

I bought two of these to have a spare - seems like I'm dropping/banging my remotes on the floor, so they just don't work anymore. Why I love this remote control: β€’ It worked with my LG ThinQ TV as soon as I put in 2 AAA batteries. No code or programming required β€’ It has real buttons including power, volume up/down, channel up/down β€’ Buttons are large and easy to see β€’ You can easily find volume up/down and channel up buttons. The /Down buttons are obscure because they resemble a toggle switch in design. You'll also know your thumb is on these controls because your index finger slides into a groove on the back of the case, just behind these controls. β€’ There is an info button on the remote control that gives you information about the program you are using. see. β€’ The remote control controls my LG TV and my LG Blu Ray player. β€’ It's affordable. As much as I hate MR, before I knew there were alternative universal remotes for LG TVs I figured I would have to buy another MR because the on/off icon on my remote is embedded in a hard plastic case making it difficult is to turn them over. turn the TV on/off. What I don't like about this remote β€’ 6 buttons around the navigation controls and an OK button just above the navigation controls. This is the same problem as with MR buttons/icons. What I miss about MR β€’ I miss the scroll wheel when changing channels. There are currently too many channels, features and options, and constantly pressing buttons to do something is annoying. What maybe you don't like about this remote control? MR.β€’ The MR has separate buttons for Netflix, Revain Prime and Movies. Earthma's universal remote doesn't work, but that's not a problem as you can access your apps through the Smart Hub.
