📺 LG Smart 3D LED LCD HDTV TV Replacement Universal Remote Control Review

This is NOT a MAGIC remote, but it works great if you can do without the point and click functionality of the Magic remote. The BEST feature of THIS remote control is the HOME button, which takes you straight to the smart menu. Love it! He came quickly and does what he said.

I still haven't found the original remote for my Smart TV (the ones my grandkids lost) so I ordered a cheap "universal" remote from Revain for $12 ( manufactured remote costs $99). To my great amazement, it actually worked - out of the box, no programming required! Best $12 I've ever spent lol! My only complaint is that there were no directions. I didn't really need them, but someone might find them useful.

Works on my LG TV model 47G2 (aka Google TV). With this remote control you can control the functions of the 3D TV. I didn't have to do ANY configuration - it just worked right out of the box. OTOH, I had a hard time dialing channel numbers - as the distance to the numeric keypad and OK button makes it difficult to operate with one hand. For the first time in months I'm glad to buy something inexpensive that works. Worked immediately. Didn't test all the buttons as I'm a cord cutter, but Smart, Arrows, Volume, Input, Power, 3D, Settings all worked. As others have written, I found the "Magic" remote that came with my LG annoying and only worked for two days. Do you know how much a 65 inch 3D LED TV costs without a remote control? Nothing.
